On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan and her birthday were feted by family and her ever-loving husband.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Despite being born onscreen in late September, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is turning another year older today. Much joy! Much celebration! Many flashbacks to times gone by — the good, the bad, and the oh, that’s right, she was married to Liam, and more than once!

At Forrester Creations, an enthused Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) placed a cake before Steffy and bid her blow out the candles. Steffy happily complied, touched as she was by the gesture.
With that mission accomplished, Steffy readied to leave, but Ridge insisted she stay long enough to view the video card he’d had Zende (Delon de Metz) prepare for her. Again, Steffy happily complied.

The trip down Memory Lane provided by the photos was a lovely one — Grandma Stephanie! Family portraits galore! — but Steffy was itching to exit the building. Finn (Tanner Novlan) would soon be home and she wanted to be there the moment he walked through the door. Ridge was chagrined, but understanding.
At the cliff house, Steffy was surprised to receive a drive-by visit from Liam (Scott Clifton), and though she was disappointed that it wasn’t her hubs walking through the door, she invited her ex in.
Liam wished Steffy a very happy birthday, granted that there was nobody quite like her, and marveled over how they had each been a huge chunk of the other’s lives. So many marriages and divorces, accidents that brought them together, and affairs that tore them apart.
Liam ruefully pointed out that he’d thought the two of them would last forever; Steffy seconded. But at least they’ll always have the memories of their love. And even though things have decidedly changed between them, that love they have for one another will never go away.
Later, Steffy emerged from the master suite to find that Finn had decorated the living room to the nines. There were candles, flowers, lobster rolls from their favorite restaurant, and their favorite wine.
The couple reflected on their rocky road to romance, the “insane challenges that would break most people.” Despite feeling that he’d never be able to truly express just how grateful he is to have Steffy in his life, Finn gave it the old college try.
“Before I met you, I was committed to my work. I had no idea what I was missing. Now, I have this brilliant, beautiful wife who always keeps me on my toes. This wonderful, growing family. You taught me balance. Fulfillment. I couldn’t imagine my life any other way.”
An overcome Steffy, in turn, recalled that they’d “skirted death. We danced with the Devil. We went halfway around the world…this birthday means more to me just because I have you here.”
Finn revealed that there was yet one more birthday present for Steffy, who argued that she had everything she could possibly want sitting beside her. But this one was too perfect to open. It was a fob designed to ring a pair of bells that Finn had installed — by an Italian craftsman, no less — that sounded exactly like the bells that had tolled as he and Steffy reunited in Monte Carlo.

Back at the office, Taylor (Krista Allen) worked to soothe a grumpy Ridge, who would have rather Steffy stayed and celebrated her milestone with him instead of rushing home to Finn.
Together the exes venerated Steffy’s myriad of accomplishments, both professional and personal, especially her work at the fashion house and her union with Finn.
