On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Eric Forrester kindly issued Ridge an eviction notice — but don’t call it what it truly is.
In addition, Taylor (Krista Allen) let her true facade shine on through. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
At Forrester Creations, Eric (John McCook), Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) busied themselves with shoptalk, namely the upcoming sojourn to Rome. Like so many before him, Eric inquired as to whether or not he should be concerned about Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) in the leadup to the trip and was told, of course, not. “Thomas’s past didn’t turn out to be the problem everybody thought it would be,” crowed Ridge.
Eric then asked if Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) would be accompanying the team, specifically Ridge. After all, she is Hope’s mother [and a Forrester Creations employee, but that didn’t warrant a mention]. Ridge, in turn, wondered if they should invite Taylor, given that she birthed Thomas.

For his part, Carter twirled in his chair, smirked, and declared that he loves when they veer from the meeting and explore his best friend’s love life. What love life, wondered Ridge. He has o love life…not since Brooke and Taylor swore off him.
Later, once Carter had departed, Eric asked for a moment of Ridge’s time and inquired as to his current living situation — AKA why was he still shacked up with him and Donna (Jennifer Gareis). Eric had really thought that the “situation” would have resolved itself by now…and by that, he means he figured Ridge would have reunited with Brooke already. They are grown adults capable of sorting things out on their own…aren’t they?
At Taylor’s office, Brooke implored her friend to step up and not allow Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to do anything that’s going to come between Hope and Liam (Scott Clifton) [like, say, accusing Hope of having feelings for Thomas].
Taylor argued Steffy’s position that she wasn’t trying to cause an issue but rather prompt a serious convo between the husband and wife. The already contentious convo deteriorated further and climaxed with Taylor huffing that “Hope has Logan blood in her.” Then, she suggested that there shouldn’t be anything to worry about unless Hope is the one having inappropriate feelings for Thomas.
Brooke stammered and sobbed and decided to take her leave before she said something that she might [emphasis on might] regret.
Taylor remained behind long enough to stamp and stomp and stare longingly at various framed photos of her family — then it was off to Il Giardino, Trattoria Rustica.
Deacon (Sean Kanan), who’d just seen, fed, bolstered, and sent off Hope, was surprised to see Taylor back. Had she forgotten something? “I forgot that Brooke Logan is Brooke Logan,” came the testy reply.
Deacon pointedly pointed out that Taylor had just recently attempted to convince him to pursue Brooke so that she could clear a path to Ridge and Taylor, in turn, insisted that that wasn’t her intent. She was just trying to do what was best for everyone at this point in time.
“You might just be the key, Deacon. To end this toxic, destructive cycle that’s been going on for so long. You need to call Brooke. You need to do it, Deacon. Do it, now!”
Meanwhile, back at FC, Eric made himself scarce when Brooke entered the scene, leaving her alone with Ridge. Brooke and Ridge both took the hint and went as far as confessing that they missed one another.
