Brooke Logan Takes On Bill and Sheila Carter — And Seemingly Wins

On today’s Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke Logan makes a plea for sense. Common sense.

In addition to Brooke’s exerted effort, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) sat around reflecting on the very bad thing that Taylor (Krista Allen) did to Bill (Don Diamont) some years ago. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.

Brooke Logan Begs Bill To Evict Sheila Carter

Upon being apprised of the recent goings on, Brooke was shocked. And incredulous. And seriously pissed off. What in the world was Bill thinking? Not only is he aligning with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), but he’s blackmailing Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to ensure Sheila’s continued freedom. And he’s using her good buddy Taylor’s past sins — well, one of the many, anyway — against her? This will not stand. Uh uh. No way. Brooke Logan to the rescue!

After confronting Bill and realizing that he was indeed under Sheila’s thrall, Brooke implored him to tap into his good and decent side and to do the right thing…which was to send Sheila packing. Bill knows that she’s right, Brooke argues. Brooke knows all, and Brooke is always right.

And at one time, Brooke was the love of Bill’s life, and he had a real hard time saying no to her. Remember all the fun that they used to have together? The rides in hot air balloons and on camelback? And the smooching. Does Bill remember all the smooching? Surely he can deny neither the smooching nor the fact that Sheila is bad news.

But he actually can. As Sheila so helpfully pointed out, Brooke turned her back on Bill in the not-too-distant past, and it was she who built him back up again. That won’t be so easily forgotten. And yet, Bill seems to be coming around to Brooke’s way of thinking. And that doesn’t bode well for Sheila.

B&B Recap: Way Back When

Though they don’t want to come right out and say it, Hope and Liam can’t help but think that if Taylor hadn’t put a bullet in Bill’s back all those years ago, none of this would be happening. Still, the couple can’t exactly blame Taylor — Liam especially. Lest anyone forget, it was Liam who was considered the prime suspect in Bill’s shooting. Heck, he even has a memory of doing the foul deed. But it was just something that his concussion-addled mind conjured up. Probably. It’s probably still all Taylor’s fault.
