B&B spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 18, 2022, features Brooke Logan Forrester asking a big favor of her son-in-law, Steffy Forrester Finnegan and Thomas Forrester counting their blessings, and Katie Logan showing interest in Forrester Creation’s Chief Operating Officer.
Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) relived kissing Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) but told himself to stop fantasizing about someone else’s wife (was it ALL just a fantasy?). She’s married, committed, and not his for the taking. He shook it off just as Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) came in.
The pair talked about the new line, Thomas’s designs, and of course, their parents. They were glad to have Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) out of their dad’s life. It’s about time the Foresters won a round! They wondered how Brooke was doing. It was probably a cryfest over there, they surmised. Once alone, Thomas relived setting Brooke up with the voice change recorder.
They were right. Brooke was over at her house, crying her face off. Over at the cabin, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and a very distracted Hope talked about Brooke, too. Liam was sorry they didn’t get time to chat the night before, but Hope had gotten in so late from working at the office with Thomas.

They eventually made their way to the main house to check on Brooke. She cried to them about losing Ridge, and they tried to console her while Liam made a mental note that the bottle of vodka was still there (why he has yet to remove it is unclear). When Hope took a call about Beth, Brooke leaned in and asked Liam to keep her almost drinking to himself. He agreed.
Hope caught onto their chatter and asked what was really going on. Brooke played it off as her just being sad about Ridge, and Hope believed her. She had no reason not to. The whole time, Hope seemed worried, and not just about her mom’s issues.
Meanwhile, in the design office, Katie (Heather Tom) paid Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) another visit. He spoke a bit about his heartbreak, and Katie gassed him up. He’s a great guy, and any woman would be lucky to have him. He’s like one of those trophy fish! Yes, a fish. She compared him to a fish. Luckily, Carter wasn’t offended and flirted right back. Is she one of the women interested in him? Yes, yes, she is!
