Locking down the Logan estate isn’t easy, but it’s necessary, and life just doesn’t feel safe over there. Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) check in at the main house to gripe about the new safeguards because there’s nothing like complaining to your mama when she’s giving you a rent-free life.

Don’t worry, dear children, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are doing all this to keep you safe. Learn the new gate code, make friends with the security team, and rest easy knowing Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) can’t get into these parts.

B&B Recap: A System Slip

The nightmare may be coming to an end soon, anyway. Baker (Dan Martin) came over with news. They finally figured out who may have helped Sheila escape — the same man who always does, Mike Guthrie (Ken Hayes). Oh yes, of course! What a big bombshell!

How did this happen? Well, Mike Guthrie got hired as Richard Mike Guthrie, and no one suspected a thing. Apparently, background checks at high-stakes and high-security prisons are lax at best. Oh, and he’s still working there. Oops. Ridge, Brooke, and Baker ran off to meet catch Mike at work.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Finn Got Tough

As for Mike, he went to check on his pal and her son. Sheila made the mistake of leaving the two men alone while she went to shower. As soon as Finn (Tanner Novlan) heard the water start running, he laid it on thick. Do the right thing, man, turn yourself in, and save your skin! Fix this mess!

Unfortunately, Sheila came out before Finn could truly get through to Mike. The guard left for work, and Sheila laid into her son. Are you planning something, Finn? Yes. He’s planning on leaving. He yelled, he screamed, and he got himself out of the bed. “I’m going to see my family,” he hollered as Sheila stood horrified.

Meanwhile, over at the prison, Mike no sooner got to work than he was faced with the dynamic trio. Brooke, Ridge, and Baker got him in a room and demanded to know how he helped Sheila escape.
