B&B spoilers recap for Friday, December 17, 2021, features a woman in love, a man reaching his breaking point, and a marriage falling apart.

B&B Spoilers Recap Highlights

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) spent her day catching up with her mom and reminiscing about the past. They talked about how their family used to be about her namesake, Stephanie. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) wished she was still here.

It wasn’t long before it became a bitch session about the Logan ladies. They always win, don’t they? Sigh. Taylor admitted Ridge is the love of her life. It’s just too bad he keeps chasing his current wife.

B&B Recap: Opposite Sides

Meanwhile, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) took Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to task until Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) put a stop to it. Deacon is here, he’s Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) dad, and that’s that. Deacon took his leave to go see Hope.

Hope was happy to see her dad and get her lesson. They went to the backyard to practice their moves but decided to listen in on Brooke and Ridge instead. They heard the couple’s full argument which started with her defending Deacon and went on to her bashing Taylor. Deacon was absent but at least he has a reason (jail’s a reason?), where was Taylor?

The argument exploded when Brooke pointed out all the big moments Taylor missed. Steffy’s addiction, Thomas’s breakdown, Caroline’s death. She didn’t seem too concerned about her family then, did she? That was enough for Ridge. He took off and made a beeline for the cliff house (yes, to see Taylor).

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Picking Up The Pieces

Outside, Deacon acted very sorry for causing so much drama and Hope fell for his act hook, line, and sinker. She accompanied her father into the living room to console a very shattered Brooke. There were tears and a whole lot of apologies. Brooke cried herself to her bedroom leaving Hope to wonder how to make this all better…while keeping Deacon around, of course.
