In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for August 30, 2023, she-devil Sheila Carter attempts to manifest her picture-perfect future.

Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

In addition, Finn makes inroads with Steffy, and RJ blows Eric’s mind with this newfangled thing called technology. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.

B&B Recap: Crazy Is As Crazy Does

With Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) beating on the front door, Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) raced to hide her and her plethora of belongings in the nearby bathroom.

Once Deacon admitted Ridge and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), who was there for…reasons(?)…he demanded to know why they think he’d harbor Sheila. After all, he doesn’t want that loon anywhere near him. Not after all the awful, terrible things that she’s done.

Ridge refused to give Deacon the benefit of the doubt and hissed that Sheila was a threat to him and his family and that anyone who helped or harbored her was also a threat to him and his family — and that family included Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope (Annika Noelle).

After the gentlemen took their leave, Sheila emerged and thanked Deacon profusely for all he’d done for her. She then waxed nostalgic about the hug that she and Finn (Tanner Novlan) shared and how that proved that he loved her despite himself.

What’s more, Sheila insisted that her son would soon come to embrace her as his true mother and that they’d be in each other’s lives FOREVER.

Ironically, while Sheila was unloading all that crazy, Finn was at Forrester Creations, assuring Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he’d never, ever have anything to do with Sheila again. Like, ever. Steffy, for her part, seemed pretty darn swayed this time, in spite of Finn’s pleas being the exact same ones that he’d issued about 15 times previous.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Technological Leaps And Bounds

At the Forrester mansion, Eric (John McCook) and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) were already reaching an impasse where their newfound partnership was concerned.

Eric bemoaned not being able to sketch his designs himself, and that prompted RJ to have a brain blast. Eric can still sketch without a pencil and paper. He can use a device called a computer! RJ will even teach him how it’s done.
