Hope casts her worries aside and finds comfort in Thomas.
In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for October 13, 2023, Hope ignores all the dissenting opinions and drapes herself all over Thomas.
In addition, Brooke and Ridge went to see Deacon and Sheila, and RJ stood up for Luna when she couldn’t do it for herself — and mean ole Aunt Li didn’t appreciate the young man’s interference. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Having assured Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she hadn’t misunderstood a thing, Hope (Annika Noelle) reiterated that Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) were a bona fide couple. Both women took notice of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) acting rather nonchalantly and demanded some answers. Why wasn’t he more shocked? Where’s the indignation?
Ridge could but admit he already knew about the coupling. Well, he knew about it way back when. He had no idea they were still together. In fact, Deacon had sworn to him that he and Sheila were through.

Hope begged her mom to go and talk some sense into Deacon, and Brooke obliged. Ridge, for his part, insisted on going with her. No way was he letting her walk into the same room as Sheila.
Soon, Hope was joined by Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). She filled him in on the latest scandal, and he suggested she try on his latest design.
While preening and posing, Hope became haunted by the words of others. There was Finn (Tanner Novlan) insisting that she was too good for Thomas. And, of course, Brooke backed up Finn’s assertion. Despite it all, Hope pulled Thomas into a passionate clinch — but only after he reminded her of his love and devotion to her and only her.
Across the hall, RJ (Joshua Hoffman) pulled back from his and Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) kiss and declared that he was happy that there were no more secrets between them. He’d confided his granddad’s illness to her, and she, in turn, had told him about her problems with Li (Naomi Matsuda).
RJ promised Luna that she wouldn’t have to go it alone anymore and that he wouldn’t let Li drive her out of Forrester Creations. Luna was grateful. So, so grateful. She was also a little put out when RJ secretly texted Finn and summoned him over for a family reunion.
Given how long it had been since last they were together, Finn didn’t recognize Luna on sight. But boy, was he glad to see her. The cousins happily reunited, and Luna filled Finn in on a few truths, namely that their estrangement was all down to his mother. And speaking of Li, RJ wanted Finn to intercede with her on Luna’s behalf.
No sooner had Finn agreed to do just that and left than RJ received word that Li was on her way. When Li finally put in an appearance, RJ went in hard. He might not understand Li and Luna’s family dynamics, but he understands that FC is his family’s business and that Li has no say in who they hire or fire. What’s more, as far as he, Ridge, and Eric are concerned, Luna is welcome to stay. In fact, she’s going to stay. Li strongly disagreed. Luna would be leaving the company ASAP.
Having practically beat Deacon’s door down, Brooke and Ridge tore in and tore into him for playing nice with a “sociopath like Sheila.” Deacon argued that Sheila had changed and deserved another chance, and Sheila pointed out that Ridge and Brooke, of all people, should know that sometimes love doesn’t make sense, and the heart wants what the heart wants.
Brooke hissed that Sheila would use and abuse Deacon’s status and destroy his relationship with Hope. The only hope Deacon has of coming out unscathed is telling Sheila to get lost and never come back.
