B&B recap for Thursday, November 3, 2022, features Hope Logan Spencer taking center stage on her big night. It’s too bad her husband wasn’t there to see it.
The Hope for the Future fashion creations hit the runway to amazing reviews by everyone in the room. Not in the room was Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), who boycotted the show. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) used the opportunity to make another sly play for Hope (Annika Noelle). Let’s take a more in-depth look at what happened.
The show was underway, and everyone was impressed. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), Katie Logan (Heather Tom), and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) stood together to ooh and ahh over the creations.
Backstage, Hope, Thomas, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), and Eric Forrester (John McCook) flittered around, making sure all the models were the picture of perfection before hitting the runway. Thomas noticed something was off, though, and asked Hope if Liam really wasn’t there. Maybe he grabbed a drink or something?
Thomas tried to hype Hope up and soothe her nerves by taking the blame for Liam not being there. He hates Thomas, not Hope, after all. However, eventually, they agreed Liam not showing up was an awful thing to do. How could he miss her big moment because he disliked her co-worker? Hope did her best to keep herself together and not cry.
Things took a bit of a turn when it came time for Hope to get into the showstopper look. Thomas pulled her aside and told her he made this dress for her. It embodies Hope to the fullest. Her beauty, her sex appeal, her goodness. It was his gift to her as his one and only.

Ridge took the stage to give a little speech and introduce the showstopper. Hope then walked the runway to rave reviews and thunderous applause. She took the mic, and thanked her children, her husband, and her team — especially her “partner in crime,” Thomas. He joined her, they held hands, and took their victory bow.
As for Liam, he turned up at Il Giardino, where he was promptly questioned by Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). Why is he there and not at the show? Liam told them about seeing Thomas with Hope. It infuriated him so much he wanted to hit Thomas, so he had to walk away. Wyatt and Bill agreed he should have thrown the punch.
Wyatt told him to go back and support his wife, but Bill agreed he needed to stand his ground. Dollar Bill advised him to go back afterward to celebrate with his wife — alone. No need for Liam to see Hope on stage with Thomas. Liam claimed this was all to protect his mental health.
