B&B recap for Thursday, November 10, 2022, features Brooke Logan losing the last name Forrester as she signed on the dotted line.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) gave up her fight — and her husband. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) tried to be cautiously optimistic as her children celebrated. And, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) suspected Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was behind a lot of the family drama.
Ridge asked Brooke about the annulment papers, and she admitted she didn’t sign them. She wanted to talk first and begged him for answers. Brooke ran through the whole list of any possible (and very real) wrongs she committed this round. Is it Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan)? Is it Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont)? What is it?
Ridge finally broke down and cried. It was about Thomas. “All I wanted from you was some humanity!” He said. “You gave up on my boy. My flesh and blood. My boy!” Brooke realized it was about Thomas, just as Ridge told her he can’t battle with her anymore. Brooke tried to share her side, but the more she talked about her concerns about Thomas, the worse things became.

In the end, Brooke reached her breaking point and agreed to sign the papers. If he wanted Taylor and her children, he could have them. Nothing Brooke could say or do was going to change that. With tears in her eyes, Brooke signed the papers and gave Ridge his freedom. Ridge wiped one of her tears off her cheek on his way out the door.
Meanwhile, Thomas and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) called their mom to the office to share the good news. Well, tease her with it, anyway. Thomas and Steffy danced around telling Taylor about Ridge’s newfound freedom until she nearly exploded with curiosity. Finally, they gave in and told her Ridge served papers and will soon be truly single.
Taylor was pleased to hear it but worried about whether or not it would stick. Ridge will always love Brooke. She just hoped Ridge would love her more. Thomas and Steffy assured their mother she was their father’s one and only, and he would see that very, very soon.
Across the hall, Liam visited Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and was relieved to hear Thomas was in a meeting. They were joined by Katie Logan (Heather Tom), and the trio discussed Ridge leaving Brooke to live back in the beach house with Taylor. They all agreed it was weird and much too quick and sudden. It was like Ridge was trying to erase all his years with Brooke. They also agreed Ridge’s children — especially Thomas — had a hand in the Bridge breaking.
Once alone with Hope, Liam started in on all the damage Thomas was causing their own marriage. Hope didn’t have a leg to stand on in his fight. She let Liam rant while looking guilty as sin because she knew everything he was saying was true.
