The B&B recap for Thursday, December 15, 2022, sees two women, love rivals the majority of their adult lives, deciding that the man they’ve been going to war over ain’t all that.
In this episode, Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) hound dog ways finally — FINALLY — come back to bite him in the behind. In the only other office ever shown in the Forrester Creations building, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) step in to referee their respective spouses. Now, let’s take a deeper look into what went on.
Ridge is back in Los Angeles and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) couldn’t be more thrilled that he’s standing before them. Ridge — Brooke’s destiny and Taylor’s whole heart. Gosh, how they’ve loved him. Gosh, how they’ve fought for him. Gosh, how happy they are that he’s had time to decide between them. But before he pipes up, the women have something to say, and it’s going to knock Ridge’s socks off!

It would behoove Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) to just agree to disagree, because, at this point, all their doing is talking at cross purposes for no good reason. The former expects that her parents will soon be reuniting, and the latter expects that her multi-times step-papa Ridge we soon be reuniting with Brooke.
Also, Hope takes the position that had Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) not interfered in the first place, Brooke and Ridge never would have divorced, which Steffy, of course, deems highly illogical as Ridge has always and will continue to always love Taylor.
Finn, for his part, pipes up that he’s very much aware of how Ridge and Taylor would have made it despite his brother-in-law’s subterfuge, therefore proving that he’s finally drunk the Forrester Kool-Aid. Meanwhile, all Liam wants to do is change the subject to…well, anything really. Even making Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) the focal point would be welcome at this point.
Contrary to the opinion that Ridge may have, Brooke and Taylor are not weak women. No, not weak, but they are tired. Sick and tired. Sick and tired of Ridge bouncing back and forth between. Sick and tired of taking their frustrations out on each other. Sick and tired of the heartbreak.
In that spirit, the women have decided that, regardless of whatever decision Ridge may have come to, they’re bowing out of the running and choosing themselves. Choosing dignity and choosing self-respect. They. Are. DONE! with Ridge. D.O.N.E
Cue a weight being lifted off Brooke and Taylor’s shoulders. Cue the goodbyes they issue to Ridge. Cue the freeze frame of them joyfully high-fiving!
