In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 30, 2023, Eric got to see one of his designs in action — and boy was he impressed.

In addition, Brooke, RJ, Ridge, and Steffy continued to complain about their new normal. It’s sooooo hard honoring Eric’s wishes. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.

Man Of The Hour

Katie (Heather Tom) whitened when she overheard Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Eric (John McCook) talking about the hospital. Had something happened? Eric snapped that in case Katie had forgotten, he was still dying….like everyone else on the planet. He’s just on the fast track. And just because he’s on said fast track doesn’t mean he has to throw in the towel.

The Logan sisters worked in tandem to try and persuade Eric to at least get a second opinion, if not seek out specialty treatment, but their pleas fell on deaf ears. Eric’s not going to waste his time sitting around getting poked and prodded. He’s going to stay put and continue designing.

And as for the argument that he’s giving up the fight, giving up would be curling up in a ball in a hospital room, which he doesn’t intend to do. As for the suggestion that he split his time between the office and the hospital? No go!

Eric argued that he was the only one who knew how he felt and that he was the only one who got to choose how he moved forward. And he chose to design.

That decreed, Eric then requested Donna slip into a deep purple number and model it for his pleasure. She agreed, and Katie and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) had a front-row seat to the impromptu fashion show.

Later, Eric hit upon an idea. “The best idea.” For his funeral. No, not a funeral, exactly. This would be a celebration, a party that he could attend. A party where all his friends and family came together for a laugh. Good times would be had. No tears would be shed.

For Family

Meanwhile, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) continued to pout. Gosh, it was just so hard to pretend that nothing was wrong. They resented having to do it. Brooke, for her part, worried about the strain being put on RJ. Steffy, on the other hand, wanted assurances that Eric would live to see his designs on the runway. Unfortunately, Ridge couldn’t promise that. But they could all promise to respect Eric’s wishes.
