The weekly soap opera ratings are in and Soap Hub has the scoop on the rankings. Read on to see how The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless fared for the week ending October 9.

In households, YR took the top spot with a 2.26 rating, BB came in second with a 2.16; GH was third with 1.48; DAYS was fourth with a 1.24. Each rating point equals 1.210 million viewers so, YR had 2.73 million viewers; BB had 2.61 million; GH had 1.8 million; DAYS had 1.5 million.

In the coveted demographic of women viewers aged 18-49 years old (W18-49), YR came in first with a .39; BB and GH tied with a .37 for second place. DAYS was fourth with a .34.

What stories were gripping viewers last week? Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) shared with Victor (Eric Braeden) that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) had a hand in the ChanceComm article that blasted Adam (Mark Grossman). Also, Traci (Beth Maitland) informed Jack (Peter Bergman) that Dina’s (Marla Adams) necklace is called the Teardrop of Love. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) faced financial problems over taxes related to the Grand Phoenix hotel.

On BB, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Shauna (Denise Richards) prepared to renew their wedding vows, but Katie (Heather Tom) informed him that Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Shauna have been manipulating him. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) squared off against Quinn and returned home, dejected.

Brooke fantasized about a reunion she once shared with Ridge that included flower petals. She looked down and saw petals in her bedroom. They were from Ridge! He called off the renewal ceremony to Shauna and informed Brooke that they were back together.

Over on GH, after being away from Port Charles for 37 (!) years, Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) returned to Port Charles. Viewers learned that she’s the mother of Chase (Josh Swickard) whom Jackie calls “Harry.”

On DAYS, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) shared with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) the details of her attack and what happened the night she believes she was raped by Tripp (Lucas Adams).

Justin (Wally Kurth) arrived at the police station as Lani (Sal Stowers) was questioning Tripp, announcing that he was Tripp’s lawyer. The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless air weekdays on CBS. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check local listings for air times.
