Why Does Paris’s Bold and the Beautiful Mom Grace Hate Carter?

Not since Stephanie Forrester’s dislike of Brooke on The Bold and the Beautiful have we seen someone so opposed to a person being involved with their child as we have with Grace Buckingham and Carter Walton. Paris Buckingham’s mother is dead set against her daughter dating the Forrester Creations Chief Operating Officer, and it’s truly puzzling.

Cheaters Never Change

Grace knows that Carter cheated on Paris’s sister Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), so she doesn’t like him for just that reason. That’s what 53% of you feel. Sure, Grace is biased. She leaves out the fact that Zoe wouldn’t fully commit to Carter while she figured out her feelings for Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz). That meant that Carter had ever right to see other people — even if that person he saw happened to be Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer), a married woman.

The Bold and the Beautiful Secret Surprise

Some of you, 24%, suspect that Grace knows a secret about Carter. He hasn’t been on the canvas for even a decade yet so it’s quite possible that he’s got something in his past that Grace knows about but that she’s not willing to share. What could that be? Does Carter have a wife out there? A family? The writers could come up with some secret that would cause Carter’s life to turn sideways!

Grace’s Preference

The rest of you, 23%, say that Grace simply prefers Zende to Carter. Zende is related to the Forresters. He has a great future ahead of him. He hasn’t had a fling with a married woman (as far as we know). Grace could just be going with her instincts that Zende’s a better fit. Whether she’s right or wrong remains to be seen!
