Who Should Have Custody of Douglas on The Bold and the Beautiful?

A custody battle is brewing on The Bold and the Beautiful in light of Douglas Forrester wanting to spend more time with his dad and Thomas Forrester missing his son. However, Hope Logan Spencer and Liam Spencer have had physical primary custody of Douglas for quite some time.

Do you think Douglas (Django Ferri) should live with his biological dad Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) or adoptive mom Hope (Annika Noelle) and her husband Liam (Scott Clifton)? Or someone else? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans. Read on for the results.

Daddy’s Boy

Thomas wasn’t doing well a few years ago, so his son Douglas went to live with Hope. She became his legal mother after Thomas pressured Hope into marrying him. Mourning the loss of her own daughter, Beth, Hope was vulnerable to Thomas as adorable Douglas came along with the package. Now, however, Thomas is in a better place and is capable of raising his son. Most of you, 41%, say that Thomas should have primary custody of his son.

Bold and the Beautiful: Joint Custody

This doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing situation, according to 37% of you. Why shouldn’t Douglas and Hope just share joint custody? Hope is Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) stepdaughter, who is Thomas’s father, so it’s likely that the family will spend most of the holidays together. We get the impression that Thomas doesn’t live far from Hope. Why not just share custody and Douglas can have the best of both worlds?

Every Other Saturday

The rest of you, 22%, feel that Douglas needs to stay where he is. Hope, Liam, and Beth provide a solid family unit for Douglas. What would a life with Thomas be for Douglas other than doing fun stuff like playing video games, going rock climbing, and eating pizza every day? (Hmmm…maybe Douglas should be with his dad?)
