Something strange seems to be in the water on The Bold and the Beautiful as former mortal enemies are now suddenly partners and even best of friends. It feels like everything is upside down and we are just waiting for it to all turn around soon.
There was once a time when Bill was throwing Ridge out of helicopters, Brooke and Taylor were having catfights left and right, and Hope and Steffy were forever fighting over the same man. However, those days seem to be long gone, but which new friendship surprises you the most?
For some reason, both Hope (Annika Noelle) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), two former stepsisters, felt that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was such a catch that they spent more than a decade fighting each other for him, with Liam always turning to Steffy the second Hope seemed to disappoint him. They were both married to him more than once and each one gave birth to his daughters, who are close in age.
However, they did grow up together and have gotten along here and there over the years, which is probably why only 2% of you find their latest try at being friends to be surprising. You have seen this before and figure they will once again find something to argue about and be jealous of sometime soon.
After literally decades of fighting over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Krista Allen) have decided they’ve had enough and banished Ridge from their love lives. In fact, they even realized they have more in common than a seemingly never-ending desire for Ridge and are now BFFs.
Brooke even asked Taylor to move in with her, which is why 25% of you find yourselves shocked by this new friendship. It’s definitely a different turn of events, but we all have to wonder how long it will last, especially with Ridge back on the scene.
It was a weird moment last year when Bill (Don Diamont) and Ridge seemed to have a momentary truce and Ridge thanked Bill for bringing Finn (Tanner Novlan) to Monaco to be with Steffy, thwarting Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) along the way. Then, it was even weirder when Bill seemed to fall in love with Sheila and become borderline obsessed with her.
Now, we know that was all a ruse and Bill and Ridge have been working together with the FBI to bring Sheila down for good. That was quite a twist we still need to learn more about, but 73% of you find this to be the most stunning new friendship of all. We look forward to learning how this all happened and it better be good.
