Was Brooke Right To Ban Deacon From Her Bold and the Beautiful Home?

Brooke Logan Forrester has perplexed Deacon Sharpe by showing him the door to her mansion on The Bold and the Beautiful. Sure, Deacon means no harm but that doesn’t mean bad things don’t happen. Brooke banning Deacon from her place of residence is sending Ridge Forrester a clear message that he comes first.

Soap Hub posed the question to B&B fans if Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) did the right thing by telling Deacon (Sean Kanan) that he was no longer welcome in her home. Deacon was crushed but Brooke remained firm. Did she do the right thing?

Close To Home

The majority of you, 51%, say that yes, Brooke did the right thing. She admitted that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) told her numerous times that Deacon hanging around would lead to no good and that’s what happened. Deacon didn’t set out to deliberately hurt Brooke but she got hurt anyway.

Deacon forgot his phone on New Year’s Eve (it’ll always be something that causes him to be alone with Brooke) and that’s where the trouble began. ‘All’ Brooke did was get drunk and then, Deacon slept over for a sexless romp. However, the optics were horrible.

Many of you, 31%, say that Brooke did the wrong thing by banishing Deacon from her home. Their daughter Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) spends a lot of time at Brooke’s place. If Deacon’s not allowed there, he’s going to have to come up with a new plan to see his child. Deacon didn’t do anything wrong. He just slept over one night when Ridge wasn’t even home. Brooke’s overreacting by telling Deacon to take a hike.

Giving Thanks

The rest of you, 18%, say that sure, Brooke did the right thing. Relationships are about give and take and Brooke wanted to show Ridge that she was willing to do the right thing by banning Deacon.

However, you feel that Ridge needs to give Brooke a big thank you for this move. And perhaps Ridge could, as a sign of good faith, make sure that he doesn’t spend time alone with his ex-wife Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) as a gesture of goodwill on his part?
