After all, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) knew for weeks that it was Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) who switched the labels on a non-alcoholic champagne bottle to get alcoholic Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) to drink the real deal. That led to her kissing Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), which led to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walking out on her once again. But it’s not like he pulled the trigger that fateful night. Instead, that was all Sheila’s doing, but should he shoulder the guilt he’s been carrying around?

The Truth Will Set You Free

Thomas just told his parents what he’s now known for months, 60% of you believe. Sheila switched those labels, which led to the course of events that eventually took Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) life. He could have fessed up to Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) immediately, and also told Brooke, the woman who drank that champagne, what really happened.

If he had, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would not have heard a secret conversation that led her to confront Sheila at Il Giordino that night, prompting Sheila to pull a gun on her in the alley to keep her secret safe.

The Bold and the Beautiful: How Could Thomas Have Known?

Sure, Thomas should have told the truth, say 28% of you, but you’re not sure that means he should take any blame for what happened to Steffy and Finn. After all, who could have expected Sheila to shoot her own son? While she was aiming for Steffy at the time, who could have ever expected that? It’s not like Thomas knew Steffy would catch on to what Sheila did and confront her.

Thomas Was Just Playing Matchmaker

Although he is a grown man with his own child, 12% of you think that it was ok for Thomas to keep the truth of what Sheila did from everyone because he wanted his parents to get back together and the truth might have prevented that from happening. Thomas deserves to have two parents who are married to one another, no matter how many lies he has to tell and secrets he has to keep.
