Ridge Forrester is no fan of Deacon Sharpe on The Bold and the Beautiful. He’s not going to like the guy any more when he finds out that Hope Logan Spencer’s dad had an unscheduled sleepover with Brooke Logan Forrester!

But how will Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) treat Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang)? He’s either going to forgive her or he won’t. Should he? Soap Hub asked B&B fans if Ridge should understand what happened.

Forgive and Forget

The majority of you, nearly 50%, say that Ridge should definitely forgive Brooke for sleeping with Deacon (Sean Kanan) because that’s all it was — sleeping! Brooke and Deacon didn’t have sex.

She just went to bed and he slept on top of the covers. Nothing happened. Ridge would have a leg to stand on if Deacon had tried to take advantage of his inebriated wife but not even that would have been Brooke’s fault. This is all Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) doing.

The Bold and the Beautiful: It’s The Principle

Many of you, about 36%, say that Ridge should not forgive Brooke. He’s warned her repeatedly about Deacon and Brooke wouldn’t listen. She leaned into forgiving Deacon for his past sins so that he could have a relationship with their daughter Hope (Annika Noelle). And now look what happened! No man wants to think of his wife in bed with another man — even if nothing happened.

Give It Time

The rest of you, about 14%, say that Ridge and Brooke will need time to get through this. When he finds out, he’ll raise holy heck and rant and rave and blast Deacon. However, viewers know that Ridge loves Brooke and their love has endured over the years. Ridge and Brooke may spend time apart but eventually, they’ll make their way back to one another.
