Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan Forrester are on shaky ground, to say the least, on The Bold and the Beautiful. But before the couple calls it quits for good they have the option of exploring different avenues.
Should Ridge and Brooke seek therapy before ending their marriage? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans. Read on to see the results.
The majority of you, just over 50%, say that Ridge and Brooke definitely need to get therapy to deal with their issues. Even if and when they discover Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) spiked Brooke’s New Year’s Eve bubbly, there’s still the issue of why Brooke let Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) back into her life. If she hadn’t, then Sheila’s plan never could have been brought to life. Ridge and Brooke have a lot of history and a good psychiatrist might help them figure out what their deeper issues are. Just don’t choose Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) as the therapist!
Many of you think, say about 27%, think Ridge and Brooke are beyond therapy. They’ve always had conflicts and problems since the day they met. Ridge has fallen for other women (Caroline, Taylor, Morgan) and Brooke has had other men (Eric, Thorne, Nick — and those are just the ones who are in Ridge’s family!) They need to realize that their marriage is kaput so that each can move on and find other loves.
The rest of you, nearly 23%, say that Ridge and Brooke might benefit from therapy but first, they should take a break and calm down a bit. Brooke needs to reflect on her life and how she got to this place. Why did she ignore Ridge’s pleas that Deacon’s presence would lead to no good? And Ridge can examine why he’s ending things if indeed Brooke is the love of his life?
