Liam Spencer should have stayed home.
Life is about choices, and Liam Spencer made a big one on The Bold and the Beautiful recently. Tasked with either going to Rome, Italy, to surprise his wife, Hope Logan Spencer, or not, Liam opted not to make the journey abroad when Hope asked him, but it looks like he has had a change of heart.
Did Liam (Scott Clifton) make the right decision by hopping on a plane after Hope had left? He was between a rock and a hard place. Had he stayed home, he’d have looked like he didn’t care. Or, that he trusted his wife, Hope (Annika Noelle), to do the right thing. By going, he comes off as needy. Or maybe smart? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans, and here’s how they responded.
Liam should have stayed home, according to almost 22% of you. Why? You feel he just came off as needy and insecure by going to Rome to check up on his wife. Oh, sure, Finn (Tanner Novlan) made it all sound romantic, suggesting that Liam play the supportive husband who joins his wife’s professional celebration. But he’s just coming off like a helicopter husband.
Many of you, about 28%, say that, of course, Liam Spencer did the right thing! Why shouldn’t he be by his wife’s side on one of the most important nights of her life? Liam knows Hope has feelings for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). It only makes sense for him to be there so he can block the designer from making designs on Hope.
The majority of you, about 50%, say that Liam should have said yes to the idea of going to Rome with the Forrester Creations gang from the beginning. He should have played down going because he was afraid of Thomas and Hope being alone together. On the outside, Liam could have been nonchalant about the whole thing, but on the inside, he’d be all, “I better be there to keep my marriage intact!”
