Should Carter Walton and Katie Wed on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Romance is the hallmark of The Bold and the Beautiful and all soap operas — and currently, Carter Walton and Katie Logan are developing into the show’s latest romantic duo. They get along swimmingly.

The Bold and the Beautiful Love Is All Around

It’s only natural that these two lovebirds get hitched, especially as Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has made it clear he wants a family. Katie (Heather Tom) will always love Bill (Don Diamont), but she knows he’ll never be the man she needs, especially now that he’s protecting Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). Should Katie and Carter get hitched? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans.

B&B Fools Rush In

Katie and Carter are nobody’s fools but a small amount of viewers, 14%, say that, yes, these two need to get married. We’ve seen plenty of people rush into marriage before; in fact, it’s kind of Carter’s go-to, given his past behavior. You’re fairly certain Carter and Katie have staying power, so why shouldn’t they make it legal?

The Bold and the Beautiful: Carter Walton — Past Imperfect

Many of you, 39%, say it’s too early for Carter and Katie to tie the knot. Why? For starters, Katie is way too invested still in Bill’s future. There’s having concern for your ex, as she does with Bill, given his alliance with Sheila.

However, it’s likely that Katie doesn’t realize herself how much she cares about Bill. She’s already threatened Sheila that she could get Bill back if she wants to. As for Carter, how can a man go from wanting to commit to other women (Zoe, Quinn) and then move on so quickly to someone else? The legal eagle needs to give his romantic life a recess before proposing to Katie.

All In Good Bold & Beautiful Time

The rest of you, about 47%, are being leveled-headed. You feel that, yes, Carter and Katie will and should get married. (They’ll be a powerhouse duo in the fashion world!) But it’s going to take time. Katie can help Bill get rid of Sheila without becoming his wife. Carter can allow a little time for Zoe and Quinn to become distant memories before he fully commits to Katie.
