There’s an old saying about time healing all wounds, but that’s not what Steffy had in mind when she forgave her brother Thomas Forrester for his various Bold and the Beautiful machinations.
Soap Hub asked fans if they think that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) forgave Thomas too quickly for all of his manipulations of their parents. Find out the results below.
Some of you, about 15%, say that yes, Steffy should forgive Thomas because he’s her brother. Hasn’t everyone in the Forrester family, for the most part, committed some kind of morally ambiguous act — or done something downright criminal? Steffy and Thomas aren’t Taylor’s (Krista Allen) and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) only kids. They lost a sibling — Steffy’s twin sister Phoebe –years ago. The point is life is short. Steffy wants to live without regrets.
Sure, it’s okay to forgive, but this is way too soon, say about 42% of you. Steffy is not just Thomas’s sister, but she’s in charge at Forrester Creations. She needs to do what’s right for the company, which includes making sure Hope (Annika Noelle) feels safe.
There are other ways to make Hope for the Future profitable without welcoming Thomas back into the fold. Surely, he can’t be the only designer who can help execute Hope for the Future’s vision. If Thomas is that talented a designer then, he could go off and start up his own line. He really doesn’t need Steffy’s forgiveness.
Steffy should have checked with Rachel’s mother on Friends, who once wisely noted, “Once a cheater, always a cheater,” referring to men who fool around on their girlfriends. (Even if one of them believes they were on a break!) About 43% of you believe she’s made the wrong call because Thomas is simply not going to change.
He committed a lie of omission by not telling Hope that baby Beth was alive. Thomas was more proactive when he tried to frame Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) for turning him in to Child Protective Services. When someone’s lunch goes missing from the refrigerator at Forrester Creations, security chief Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) isn’t going to have to look far to find the culprit! Seriously, Thomas is dangerous. Now that Steffy’s brought him back into the fold, trouble is likely to follow.
