It could be time for missing Maya Avant to return to B&B.
Maya Avant, played by Karla Mosley, has been absent from The Bold and the Beautiful canvas for far too long. She’s the mother of Lizzie, Brooke’s granddaughter, and she’s Carter’s ex-love. Her return to the show would create instant drama.
Soap Hub asked B&B fans if they’d like to see Maya pop back up and take an active role within the Forrester family and at Forrester Creations. Find out the results below.
About 17% of you are hopeful that B&B will make room on the canvas for Maya. She might be the perfect fourth to add to the ongoing Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), Katie (Heather Tom), and Bill (Don Diamont) triangle. There’s no love lost between Bill and Maya since he used her personal life to drive sales at Spencer Publications. If Bill asked Maya to help him break up Carter and Katie, she could get her revenge against Bill by letting Katie know what Bill is up to.
Many of you, about 40%, say that not only does Maya need to come back, but so do Rick (Jacob Young) and their daughter Lizzy, who was born in 2016. Soap fans have seen youngsters age up overnight plenty of times. So it’s easy to see a teen Lizzy coming back to the canvas. B&B’s building its younger set with the recent addition of Joshua Hoffman as RJ. Lizzy would be another great addition!
The rest of you, about 43%, say that you’d love to see Maya come back, but now is perhaps not the right time. After all, the blessing and ‘curse,’ if you will, of B&B is that it’s only a half-hour long. The show has plenty of stories it’s juggling right now, including the previously mentioned Bill/Katie/Carter triangle, Hope’s feelings for Thomas, RJ’s reintroduction, and the show’s upcoming remote to Rome, Italy.
