The Bold and the Beautiful has a slew of young characters out there that have been absent from the canvas for quite some time. For example, there’s Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan Forrester’s son RJ Forrester, last played by Anthony Turpel.

Is it time for RJ to return to the scene? After all, his half-sister Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has been shot! Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) marriage is in jeopardy. Here’s how B&B fans feel about RJ making his way back to Los Angeles.

We Are Family

Viewers saw Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) by Steffy’s bedside, telling her she can’t leave him as she’s all he’s got. Well, Thomas has a half-brother in RJ, too, and his presence on the scene would remind Thomas of that. That’s why nearly 65% of you want RJ back with his family. RJ is the living embodiment of Ridge and Brooke’s love. His return might help strengthen their bond.

The Bold and the Beautiful Mansion Is Full

Some of you, about 18%, say that you’d like to see RJ come back but there’s no room for him right now. We’re not talking about in Ridge and Brooke’s sprawling mansion. Of course, there’s a room or seven for RJ to unpack his bags. But there’s not storyline room. Steffy’s crisis currently involves numerous characters on the show. Perhaps RJ can do a Zoom call with his sister but there’s not enough space to give RJ the airtime he deserves.

Summertime Fun

The rest of you, about 17%, say that yes, RJ should return but not just yet. He can come back in the summer months when soaps sometimes focus on younger characters. Hopefully, by the time RJ does return (if indeed he does), his sister will have healed from her ordeal and his parents’ marital woes will have subsided!
