The revelation that Donna Logan and Eric Forrester are having an affair does more than pave the way for Quinn Fuller Forrester, Eric’s wife, to have a future with Carter Walton. It also lets Eric and Donna declare their love to the world — but will their relationship last?

Eric (Daytime Emmy-winner John McCook) can officially retire his pickleball equipment (did he ever have any?) now that his fling with Donna (Jennifer Gareis) has been exposed.

True Love Prevails

Most of you, about 47%, believe that Donna and Eric have staying power this time around. The first time they broke up was because Donna couldn’t get past Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery), Eric’s ex, inadvertent role in Donna’s mother’s (Beth Logan, played by Robin Riker), accidental drowning. Now, Eric and Quinn (Rena Sofer) have split, so Donna and Eric are free to have a future!

The Bold and Beautiful – An Affair to Forget

Many of you, about 30%, say that Eric and Donna will lose the spark in their relationship now that their dynamic has been exposed. You believe that part of the allure was the whole “we’re getting away with something” element that Donna and Eric must have been feeling. Now that the secret is out, you believe the passion will fade.

Complete Transparency

Both Eric and Donna have families on B&B. It seems that 23% believe they’re going to want some answers as to why Eric, who so passionately defended Quinn to his clan, strayed from his wife. Donna, likewise, will have to offer up an explanation as to why she behaved the way she did. (Well, Brooke, played by Katherine Kelly Lang, will understand why Donna followed her heart.) If Donna’s going to resume her role once again as Mrs. Eric Forrester, she’ll want to explain how this all happened. That’s the only way they can truly have a clean slate.
