Murder Arrest Twist We Can See Coming on The Bold and the Beautiful

All eyes are on Liam as Vinny’s death is under investigation by the LAPD on The Bold and the Beautiful. Viewers know he is the one who seemingly ran the scoundrel down with his car, and is likely waiting for the truth to catch up with him and the cops to show up at his door with a warrant.

But there’s another scenario that’s even more interesting; a murder twist we can see coming on The Bold and the Beautiful that would throw everything into an unexpected tailspin and push Liam’s (Scott Clifton) emotional guilt to the breaking point. What if, somehow, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) ends up the person arrested for Vinny’s (Joe LoCicero) murder?

Viewer Sympathy

Now that he’s turned over a new leaf, Thomas would actually be a sympathetic victim in this murder mystery mess. He loved Vinny like a brother, so to be accused of killing him would be horrendous and gut-wrenching. He’d be desperate to clear his name.

Hope (Annika Noelle) would likely stand by Thomas’s side, believing in his innocence, while Liam’s guilt over what really happened would intensify, knowing his silence could possibly lead to another man’s imprisonment. It would put a huge strain on Hope and Liam’s already tenuous marriage.

Father Against Father

Think of what a Thomas arrest would mean for longtime rivals Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Bill (Don Diamont). Ridge would obviously move heaven and earth to track down the real culprit and clear his son. Meanwhile, Bill would intensify his cover-up game. He’d be determined to save Liam and perfectly happy to let Thomas take the blame for everything.

Explosive Ending

It could all culminate with Liam having a massive breakdown and finally ‘fessing up to what really happened the night Vinny died – and exposing Bill’s role in the fateful accident. Hope would be shocked by Liam’s revelation and disappointed that he kept yet another major secret from her.
