In an interview with Finland’s YLETV1 channel in time for B&B’s 39th anniversary, Lang talked about the first time that her character met Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). She knew it was meant for Brooke. Lang admitted that she still plays that romantic moment in her mind to this day.
Lang explained, “From the moment she went to the Forrester house to cater with her mom, and she turns around and, ‘Aah!’ I still remember that scene. It’s just love at first sight.”
She explained that that moment in time was cemented for Brooke. “That’s all she can think about. That’s always been in her head ever since, and still is: Ridge.” This could be why Brooke has never gotten over Ridge, despite his many faults.
Lang Believes Bridge Will Never Die
In her heart, Lang believes that “Bridge” is meant to be. There’s not a moment when she can’t see the couple broken up, even if the show ended tomorrow. She noted that their first meet-cute set the stage for their love story.
