Is Taylor Too Forgiving of Bold and the Beautiful’s Sheila Carter?

Steffy Forrester Finnegan, the daughter of Taylor Hayes, is married to Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan, the son of town pariah Sheila Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful. But just because their kids are married to each other, does that mean these two women must get along? Taylor seems to think so. Is she being too forgiving?

That’s a question on everyone’s lips and one that we decided to ask fans of the show. There’s having a kind heart and there is being an idiot doormat, begging to be taken advantage of again — so what exactly are viewers thinking of Taylor’s (Krista Allen) forgiving attitude toward the one-time naughty nurse? For 50%, that answer to the seemingly complicated question was a resounding yes — after all, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) actually shot Taylor, costing her to almost lose her life (and for many years, her family DID think she had lost her life) and that’s something that could maybe one day be forgiven (just ask Bill Spencer!) but should never be forgotten. You think Taylor should act accordingly!

Bold and the Beautiful: No Doormat Here

While 36% see this as a kind and sweet move on Taylor’s part, you know that this is not a move of pure naivete. Taylor is not weak and she will not let Sheila get away with anything if she sees her start to draw outside the lines once again. But seeing as how Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) let things go against her, perhaps Taylor is paying it forward.

Nah, say 14%, this is just who Taylor is. She has always been and always will be a kind soul who wants to believe the best in people. She would like things to be less stressful for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), and having their moms able to be civil to each other may help make that happen.
