Is It Time for Reese to Return on The Bold and the Beautiful?

The Bold and the Beautiful is famous for bringing back folks when viewers least expect them. Remember Taylor popping up as Bill’s shooter? Or Sheila’s surprise return? It may be time for another popular character to make their way back to the half-hour soap opera.

Wayne Brady debuted as Dr. Reese Buckingham in 2018. In a financial bind, Reese stole Hope’s (Annika Noelle) baby and sold her to Taylor (Hunter Tylo) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) so that her daughter Kelly could have a sibling.

The truth eventually came out, and Reese was busted overseas and off-camera. Is it time for him to return to Los Angeles to play out some dramatic beats? Soap Hub posed this question to BB fans.

Sweet Justice

The majority of you, nearly 60%, say that yes, you want Reese back but only if he faces consequences for his crimes. Wayne Brady’s a multi-talented performer. It’d be interesting to see Reese either double-down on his actions or attempt redemption. Whatever the show came up with for the actor, we know it’d be entertaining!

The Daughters Of Reese Buckingham

Reese has two daughters on the show — Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and Paris (Diamond White). The two are at odds over Zoe making missteps and destroying her relationship (for now!) with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Perhaps Reese’s return could help unite the sisters in some way? Nearly 22% of you would like to see Reese back if he interacts with Zoe and Paris.

Waiting Room

The rest of you, a little over 18%, say that you’re fine with Reese coming back but only when the time is right. The show’s canvas is fairly full right now with stories that are in development. One thing’s for sure! BB won’t have to look far to find Brady. He’s already a part of the CBS lineup as the host of Let’s Make a Deal.

Currently, Brady is filming the TV series remake of the 1980 feature film American Gigolo that starred Richard Gere. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
