We get that soaps need to have characters interacting so people will take new jobs or become roommates to facilitate such interactions. However, Paris Buckingham moving in with newlyweds and new parents Steffy Forrester Finnegan and Finn on The Bold and the Beautiful has never made much sense.
Is it time for Paris to bid farewell to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan)? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans. Read on for the results!
The majority of you, almost 83%, say that Paris never should have moved in with Finn and Steffy to begin with. How is there room in Steffy’s house for her daughter Kelly with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), little Hayes, a nanny, and Paris? Newlyweds should be able to make love in their bedroom or on the kitchen table without worrying about a houseguest walking in!
Also, Paris is bringing in big bucks as the director of the Forrester Foundation. Los Angeles is filled with luxury hotels and realtors who help folks find houses, apartments, condos — you name it! It was even more of a head-scratcher that Paris moved into Steffy and Finn’s house when Finn and Steffy had a fight and he said he’d be staying in the guest house. (There’s a guest house?)
Paris has gotten quite fond of Finn and he’s having trouble with his bride because his birth mother (Sheila Carter — Kimberlin Brown) shot his mother-in-law (Taylor Hayes – Hunter Tylo). Awkward.
Finn and Steffy are at odds and Paris taking Finn’s side isn’t going to endear her to Steffy, who is no pushover. About 16% of you say Paris should go because there’s potential trouble brewing on The Bold and the Beautiful. If she needs to hang out with Finn, she can make an appointment to see him at the hospital.
Less than 1% of you think it’s a good idea for Paris to stick around. Sure, she sings great lullabies and enjoys spending time with Kelly and Hayes but this is a dynamic that really shouldn’t continue. Paris will have interactions with Steffy at Forrester Creations and she can see Finn, if not at the hospital, then, at company parties. Perhaps Paris should be told B&B stands for The Bold and the Beautiful — not Bed and Breakfast!
