Soaps play fast and loose with the paternity tests all the time. And The Bold And The Beautiful is no exception. Might the show reverse a recent blood tie that was established on the show?
The show tied Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) to the show’s canvas by making her dad be the late Storm Logan (William deVry). The tests results came in kind of quickly, however. Is it possible they’re inaccurate? Soap Hub asked BB fans if the think there might be a change coming!
Flo, She Don’t Know
More than half of you, almost 57%, believe that yeah, there’s been a mistake and Storm is NOT the father! This would extricate Flo from her new family — the Logans.
If this comes out around the same time that Flo’s role in the baby switch storyline comes to light, then her newfound relatives may not be so welcoming. There’s lots of dramatic conflict if the writers go in this direction.
The rest of you, nearly 44%, believe that Storm is Flo’s pop. This ties her to the Logan family forever. Bowden’s Flo certainly looks like a Logan. She’s blond. She’s beautiful. And she has a great spirit. She feels horrible for keeping Beth from Hope (Annika Noelle), but she is in too deep and doesn’t know how to get out!
Past Paternity Puzzles
BB has done paternity swaps before. Remember when viewers thought Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was the father of Bridget (Ashley Jones) only a subsequent test proved Eric (John McCook) was the dad!
Also, the late Stephanie (Susan Flannery) believe that Eric was Ridge’s dad, but it turned out that her old flame Massimo Marone (the late Joe Mascolo) was Ridge’s dad.
Would the show do yet another paternity switcheroo? Anything’s possible! Stay tuned to see if this development ends up occurring! The Bold And The Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
