Is A Stronger Hope A Better One on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Hope Logan Spencer has leaned on and often deferred to her mother Brooke Logan Forrester and, almost as often, her stepfather Ridge Forrester throughout her life on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, now the wife and mother is looking to stand on her own as she wants a relationship with her birth father Deacon Sharpe.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Hope Is Taking A Stand

Soap Hub asked fans if they’re enjoying this new, stronger Hope, who is fighting for that relationship with her father against everyone else in her life. Read on to see the results of our poll.

Hope For The Future

The majority of you, 65%, say that yes, you’re enjoying seeing Hope stand on her own and being strong. It’s too bad for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she may regret sleeping with Deacon (Sean Kanan). And Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) isn’t a fan of Deacons either. But guess what? Hope is! She told the two in no uncertain terms that they’re not going to stand in the way of her having a relationship with her biological dad.

Bold and The Beautiful: The Medium Is The Message

Many of you, almost 20%, agree that Hope is right to stand up for herself, but you feel that she should take a different approach. She can be firm without raising her voice to Brooke and Ridge. Sure, she’s dealing with a passionate issue and is outnumbered. But she’s still the daughter, so you feel that she could be a bit more respectful and communicate her feelings without raising her voice.

Simmer Down, Simmer Down

The rest of you, about 15%, believe that Hope was way out of line. Deacon was hurting the Forrester family before she was even born. She shouldn’t speak to Ridge and Brooke with such anger. They are only trying to help her out.

Hope is threatening to move off the property to emphasize how strongly she feels about this. Hope might want to let her actions speak for her — not her words. Moving off Brooke’s property will be a sure sign that Hope is growing up.
