Sean Kanan B&B Way of the Cobra
Sean Kanan, who currently portrays Deacon Sharpe on The Bold and the Beautiful (a character he also played on The Young and the Restless), is doing a meet and greet this weekend in Los Angeles to promote his book Way of the COBRA. The soap opera star, also known to fans as Michael ‘Mike’ Barnes of the Karate Kid movie series, has penned a self-help tome that can help transform your life!
“Join me for this very special event at Barnes & Noble @bneventsgrove @thegrovela in Los Angeles,” Kanan posted about the event set for Saturday, March 12 at 2 p.m. “FREE and OPEN to the public. Kanan has said there’s both good and bad news for folks looking to harness their inner warrior. “If you’re like me — or Don Corleone [The Godfather] — you insist on getting the bad news first,” Kanan has said. “So, here’s the bad news — I don’t have a ‘silver bullet’ that is immediately going to turn you into that super-successful beast that we all want to be.”
However, the good news can be found in the Zen riddle that asks how did a ship get inside the bottle? “It was already there,” he has pointed out. “Everything you need to unlock the keys to give you the life you want already exists within you.”
The actor has addressed accomplishing in life in another tome as the co-author of Success Factor X. In addition to being fan-favorite in the soap world since his 1992 debut as AJ Quartermaine on General Hospital, Kanan’s also a Daytime Emmy Award-winning producer, having helmed the Amazon Prime series Studio City in which he plays daytime actor Sam Stevens, who’s at a crossroads in life.
“This is not a flex,” Kanan has said, “[but] rather a demonstration of the power of the inner COBRA.
