In the April 9 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila learned that Deacon had fallen in love with Taylor. He refused to reconcile with his wife. And if that’s not bad enough, his kids knew about his affair and applauded it.

Key Takeaways

  • Sheila begged Deacon to take her back, but he refused.
  • She realized that he had fallen in love with Taylor.
  • Deacon also confessed to Hope and Deke knowing about his affair with Taylor.

What Happened on B&B

Back at their apartment, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) begged Deacon (Sean Kanan) to stick around for her sanity. She didn’t want to believe that it was over for them. Sheila said they could get through this together.

Deacon credited Sheila for not giving in to her darker impulses. Sheila claimed she’s changed because of him. He’s seen the changes in her and is proud of her. So, why should he leave her?

Deacon explained that he wanted the best of Sheila. But now, he’s in love with Taylor, and she’s the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Deacon confirmed that this is what he really wants.

Sheila knew that it was also what Hope (Annika Noelle) and Deke (Harrison Cone) wanted too. She asked if they knew. She realized that they already knew and wondered how she could have been so stupid.

Why It Matters

Hope and Deke would’ve never accepted Sheila, no matter how long Deacon’s marriage would’ve lasted. They’ve begged their father to divorce their mother and to marry someone who is mentally stable. Someone like Taylor.

Sheila knew how they felt about her. How much she made them uncomfortable whenever they were around her. How they would skip out on holidays and family occasions so they couldn’t be in the same room with her.

Sheila didn’t like being an outcast. Now she has the ultimate alibi, if she wants to use it. She could frame them for taking her husband away from her.

The Fallout

Deacon realized that Sheila could retaliate against the people he loved. At that moment, he thought about Taylor’s well-being. But his line could suggest that she could go after the other loves of his life.

If Sheila is committed to acting like a villain, she could go to Deke and Hope after her conversation with Deacon. She promised him that she would never hurt anyone because she’s not that woman anymore.

Sheila wants to prove it to Deacon because she loves him. She even willingly agreed to leave town. But she could quietly target his kids without his knowing.

In Sheila’s mind, they betrayed her. They could’ve come around and accepted her, but they didn’t. And now, Sheila could do something crazy that could hurt someone.
