Four The Bold and the Beautiful Weddings That Went Way Wrong

The Bold and the Beautiful has a history of producing some glorious weddings! But B&B has also had some weddings and proposals that have been near-misses or simply not legal over the years. So, here are some weddings that were close but no cigar!

Ridge and Caroline: Caroline (Joanna Johnson) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye; then Ronn Moss) were all set to marry at the Forrester mansion, but the bride’s well-meaning dad, Bill Spencer (Jim Storm), made sure his daughter saw a photo of Ridge being unfaithful, causing Caroline to pass out. The wedding was off!

Brooke and Ridge: Possibly their most beautiful wedding was also the couple’s first. Brooke rode in on a horse on the beach in Malibu where she and Ridge tied the knot. Alas, Ridge’s “late” wife Taylor (Hunter Tylo) wasn’t really dead so the union wasn’t legal.

Eric and Stephanie: The Forrester matriarch and patriarch were about to re-marry until Stephanie (Susan Flannery) called it off after spying a provocative photo of Eric (John McCook) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) in the minister’s bible!

Ridge and….Taylor: Ridge was all set to surprise Brooke with a marriage proposal at the conclusion of a Forrester fashion show. But Ridge had spied Brooke giving Grant (Charles Grant) a kiss and an embrace the night before so he decided to ask Taylor for her hand in marriage instead!
