Five Fast Facts About The Bold and the Beautiful Star Hunter Tylo

Hunter Tylo is best known for playing Taylor Hayes on The Bold and the Beautiful. She has also been on television shows such as All My Children, Baywatch, Days of Our Lives, and Burke’s Law.

While she stays busy with acting, Tylo has also been forced to deal with some difficult situations throughout her life. From a difficult lawsuit to having a child with cancer, here are five fast facts about The Bold and the Beautiful actress.

In The Beginning…
Tylo was born Deborah Jo Hunter in Fort Worth, Texas. She has an older sister named Elizabeth, and an older brother named Jay, and a younger brother named Cliff. She was an accomplished equestrian and attended Springtown High.

Hunter Vs. Aaron
Tylo made headlines fired from Melrose Place for being pregnant with her daughter, Izabella Gabrielle. She then sued Spelling Entertainment for wrongful dismissal, pregnancy discrimination, and breach of contract. She was eventually awarded $4.8 million.

Snake Whisperer
Tylo loves reptiles, but she has a special affinity for snakes. In fact, she and her family have had a boa constrictor named BJ, as well as a number of other exotic pets.

Getting Personal
Tylo gave birth to her first son, Christopher Morehart, when she was just 17 years old. She had Christopher with her first husband, Tom Morehart, whom she divorced four years after they got married.

She then went on to marry actor Michael Tylo and they had Izabella Gabrielle, Katya Ariel, and Michael Edward. The couple divorced in 2005 and their son, Michael, tragically drowned in 2007 when he was 19. Her third marriage was to Gersson Archila in 2009, but they called it quits in 2018.

Affected By Cancer
Along with dealing with the death of her son, Tylo has also had to deal with one of her children suffering from cancer. Her daughter Katya was diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer called retinoblastoma, which forced them to remove her right eye. A tumor was found in her left eye, but it thankfully disappeared.
