For months, The Bold and the Beautiful played one storyline that helped propel the show to the top spot for many weeks in key demographics. We’re talking about the Baby Phoebe Is Really Baby Beth tale. Viewers were drawn in, waiting for the reunion and the payoff was terrific!
Since then, we haven’t seen many episodes of Hope with Beth, bonding, getting to know each other, and being joyful. Do you feel that BB should be showing more mother/daughter moments? Soap Hub posed this question to the show’s fans. Read on for the results.
The majority of you, 56%, say yes, you’d like to see more of Hope (Annika Noelle) and her daughter. Sure, feeding time and playtime might not make for the most dramatic of moments on a soap opera, but viewers got sad right along with Hope when she was mourning her child.
Life’s all about balance. It’d be nice to see Hope being happy since she spent so much time being sad. We’ve no doubt BB can make Hope bonding with her daughter entertaining. There’d probably be some comedic moments, too!
The rest of you, 44%, are fine with not seeing scenes of Hope and Beth playing with a serious round of peek-a-boo. There’s a reason children are often not seen on soaps once custody and paternity are decided.
There’s just not as much potential in terms of drama and conflict. A scene here and there of Hope with a diaper bag and hugging her kid is fine, but knowing Beth is safe at home is enough.
Whether we see Beth or not doesn’t mean we have to see any less of Hope. She may get involved in the shenanigans at Forrester Creations now that Thomas is making a power play to get the Logans out of his family’s company.
Plus, viewers can always count on there being drama when Hope and Steffy are in the same room at the same time! Don’t miss an episode to see what happens next! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
