We’re not crying, you’re crying! The Season 16 Grey’s Anatomy premiere was an emotional rollercoaster for Jo Karev (Camila Luddington) and Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), but it ended with a super romantic moment between the couple.

In this highlight video, Alex decides to propose again to Jo after she completed her stint in a mental health facility to confirm his love for her, and because they actually never legally got married!
“I don’t want an out, you hear me? You offered me an out and you were right, I was scared. So, I thought about it, and what I know for sure now is that I’m a better man with you,” he tells her.
Emotional Moment
Though Jo feels better now, she reveals she’ll still struggle with her mental health. “I did the work here, but I’m not magically fixed. I can’t promise that it won’t happen again.” Watch the emotional clip above to see the sweet moment!
