Will Bold and the Beautiful’s Zende Play Dirty To Have Luna?

Zende has made no secret that he is attracted to Luna and thinks she should be with him on The Bold and the Beautiful instead of his cousin RJ. She has made it just as clear that her heart is with RJ. But will that little fact stop the designing heir from getting what he wants?

Charm Offensive

Zende (Delon de Metz) shouldn’t have to work all that hard to steal his cousin’s girl and make her his own. He’s handsome, he’s suave, and he’s successful. What girl wouldn’t be interested in the complete package? And he’s a Forrester too! RJ (Joshua Hoffman) got there first but Zende will show he’s the true prize for Luna (Lisa Yamada, read what she said about Zende here).

Getting Real

The thing is, it may seem that Zende is doing this to be a brat to his cousin because he thinks he’s the “golden child” — all because he’s the one child from Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and his beloved Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). But that doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the case.

Zende seemed to feel a very genuine attraction and bond with Luna. That’s why he wanted to wow her by asking her to a romantic dinner just the two of them. He couldn’t believe she was that serious about RJ because he sees him as a boy. And Zende is a man — ready to sweep the lady off her feet.

Acting Out

While that sounds good, the timing and everything else about Zende’s pursuit of Luna seems…a bit calculated. If he really cared about her, he wouldn’t be doing this hard sell and making her feel uncomfortable. His bitterness towards RJ appears to be over the line. Taking Luna — by any means necessary — just to score a win against RJ, seems more Zende’s style these days. Will he do this? It seems like it’s almost an inevitability.
