Taylor asked Nick to keep an eye on Ridge and Brooke in Italy. He willingly went to the romantic country in an effort to sweep Brooke off her feet. However, his romantic plans came crashing down. Literally. Taylor won’t be happy to find out what happened in Italy. She could blame Nick for Ridge taking back Brooke on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Steering The Boat
Nick (Jack Wagner) had big plans to woo Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). He planned a romantic boat ride, which wound up being the exact opposite of romantic. Instead of sitting together, Brooke lay down on the back of the boat. The boat ended up crashing into another boat, sending her overboard. If Nick can’t steer a boat, how can he steer his own love life?

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) rescued Brooke when he dove into the waters and prevented her from going under. In that moment, Ridge realized that Brooke was his “destiny.” He kissed her and said that he would make everything right. But there’s just one problem. He’s engaged to Taylor (Rebecca Budig).
How Taylor Could React
Taylor could still be in denial, even after the gang comes home from Italy. She will ignore the red flags, including the sparks brewing between Brooke and Ridge. Rather, she’ll blame Nick for “Bridge” getting back together. He had one job, and he failed at it. He couldn’t keep Ridge away from Brooke.

Ridge was too busy chasing Brooke around Italy. He was desperate to find out after he realized that he had made a mistake. Seeing her drown changed everything. Ridge realized that he didn’t want to lose her. Taylor and Nick are going to lose in the end, but that won’t stop them from giving up. They’re still going to keep trying because they’re more into the idea of “winning” someone rather than simply loving them.
