Finally, Ridge committed to Brooke. He ended his engagement with Taylor, and didn’t take long to pop the question to his Logan. How long will it take for these two to get married on The Bold and the Beautiful?
Ridge Makes His Move
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) wasn’t encouraged by Eric (John McCook) or Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) this time around. He followed his own heart. Ridge told Taylor (Rebecca Budig) that he couldn’t marry her because he was still in love with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Deep down, Taylor saw this day coming. She knew that Brooke was his destiny. So, she let him go. (Will Taylor finally get a clean break from Ridge on B&B?)
It didn’t take long for Ridge to make his next move. He showed up at Brooke’s office with a rose. He popped the question, which she accepted.
Fear Of Commitment
But Ridge fears commitment. The last time he was engaged to Brooke, he pushed off their wedding. He didn’t feel the need to have a big, elaborate ceremony because they had done it before.
He wanted to enjoy their engagement. This time, he’ll have to prove that he’s committed to her. Brooke shouldn’t have to wait to get married like she did the last time.
Ridge and Brooke will continue to claim that they’re meant to be together forever until there’s an issue in their relationship. He’ll use this as an excuse to leave Brooke for Taylor.
What Will Ridge Do Next?
Will the romance continue on B&B? Will Brooke and Ridge finally make their love official? Or will Ridge get jealous the moment that Taylor moves on with a new man?
