The designers on The Bold and the Beautiful can’t do much for Eric Forrester, who’s dying, but, fortunately, there are some doctors in the family. One of them, Dr. Finn Finnegan, is married to Eric’s granddaughter Steffy. Finn loves Steffy, and Steffy loves her granddad, so he may be able to help Eric with his health issues.
Eric Forrester: His Favorite Grandson-in-Law
It would be helpful if we knew exactly what Eric’s condition was. We know it’s bad, and he’s coughing a lot of blood (remember when he tried to play it off as arthritis). While his doctor, Colin Colby (Justiin Davis), seems to have a handle on Eric’s case, the Forrester patriarch could use a second opinion — Finn’s (Tanner Novlan)! Could Steffy’s hubby save the day? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans.
Debbie Downer
Some of you feel that it’s over for Eric (John McCook). If that’s true, then Finn won’t be able to help him. How can he help cure Eric anyway when it’s unclear what’s ailing him? McCook has been with the show since its inception (read more about the actor here). It’s conceivable that he’s ready to take a break. If that’s true, Finn won’t be able to work any miracles.
Eric Forrester: Second Opinion
Perhaps Finn might know of a doctor who could help Eric. Maybe he could reach out to either Dr. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) or Dr. Olivia Barber (Tonya Lee Williams) from The Young and the Restless. Perhaps either or both of them specialize in mysterious soap opera diseases. There are other doctors who could be called upon to consult, including Dr. Jordan Armstrong (Vincent Irizarry). Steffy would be impressed by Finn’s determination to help her granddad.
Dr. Finn-Tastic
Finn won’t need to consult any other doctors. He’s the man for the job! Finn helped Steffy recover from her motorcycle accident, and the good doctor himself has cheated death! Who better to help Eric beat his mysterious disease than a man who has spit in the eye of the Grim Reaper himself?
