Will B&B’s Liam Spencer Sacrifice His Love for Steffy to Save Hope?

Liam Spencer isn’t happy that his ex-wife Hope is wearing Thomas’s ring around her neck on Bold and the Beautiful. Hope’s not interested in Liam’s opinion, though, since he’s harboring feelings for Steffy. She wants a man who’s devoted to her fully. Right now, Liam is not that man.

Liam Spencer: Supreme Sacrifice

Liam does have feelings for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as evidenced by the two kisses he gave her last year, the first after he saw Hope kissing Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). Hope had an epiphany that Liam has been and always will be in love with Steffy.

Why shouldn’t she have a man devoted solely to her? This is all very valid but that doesn’t automatically mean Thomas is the right guy for Hope either. Liam just might have to swear off Steffy to lure Hope away from the bad boy.

No Brainer

Liam may as well tell Hope that Steffy isn’t his future. She loves Finn (Tanner Novlan). Liam (Scott Clifton) has nothing to lose so why not do the heroic thing and rescue Hope from a man who lied to her and used his own son to manipulate her? Is Liam the right man for Hope? Maybe not. But Liam feels Thomas sure isn’t.

Having It All

Liam is going to want his cake and eat it too (though in fairness, what’s the point of having cake if you can’t eat it?). He’ll harass Hope over Thomas and continue his accusations that he’s a bad dude until Hope relents. Liam will persist until he gets what he wants. If Thomas slips up, Liam will be there to point out his faults until Hope gives up and tosses him out of her life.

Future Imperfect

Liam may succeed in making Hope think that he’s going to get rid of Steffy, which could prompt Hope to give him another chance. However, we suspect the minute that Liam decides he wants Steffy again, he’ll run off and be by her side. That’ll leave Hope out in the cold again.
