The April 1st episode of The Bold and the Beautiful left all our jaws on the floor. Talk about a cliffhanger Friday! Is Finn alive? Did Finn die? And, is Finn DEAD dead or just soap opera dead? We don’t think he’s the first. Not at all. Here are three of our theories on his shooting.
Bold and the Beautiful: A Fake Out
Killing Finn (Tanner Novlan) off would be a big mistake. Huge. Why give Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) a new love, a child, and a beautiful life — just to take it all away for shock value?
We think Finn just looked dead but is still breathing and is going to make it. Nothing to see here, folks, just a classic bait-and-switch stunner to keep us talking for a whole entire weekend.
B&B: A Coma Dream
Could it be this is all in Steffy’s head? What if she actually got hurt when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) pinned her to that trash bin and she was rendered unconscious? This could all be a dream if you will.
This would be an easy out for the show. Let us think we’ve lost Finn but really the next few weeks would just be locked in Steffy’s wild and vivid imagination as she plays out her very worst fears.
Bold and the Beautiful: Nurse Mommie Dearest
Our last theory is yes, Finn was for sure shot, but he’s not going to die — because his mother is going to save him. Sheila knocks Steffy out long enough to drag Finn off to parts unknown and keep him there against his will so she can nurse him back to health.
Sheila’s a nurse by trade, after all, so she would definitely have an idea how to remove a bullet and care for the wound. In her sinister brain, she would do all this thinking it would bring her closer to her favorite child. Look, son, I saved you. Do you love me now? So what do you think? Do you agree with us or do you have your own thoughts on this storyline? Let us know in the comments section below.
