It wasn’t so long ago little Douglas Forrester was everyone’s unlikely hero on The Bold and the Beautiful. He sold his daddy down the river, told everyone the truth about Beth, and gave Hope Logan Spencer her baby back. These days, we don’t see much of Douglas but when we do, it’s like a ray of sunshine enters the room and lights up everyone’s lives.
Bold and the Beautiful: The Sweetest of Boys
Not only is Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) a cutie pie but his sweet demeanor makes all the fans melt. Let’s face it, this little guy hasn’t had it easy. He lost his mother way too young, his father was a very messed up man who did some pretty terrible things to him (remember that terrifying ghost situation?), and used him to get to Hope.
He bounced around a little too much for a while now, and he’s lived at the cottage with limited access to his daddy (who is much better now). Through it all, he’s remained a very kind and lovely little boy.
B&B: More Douglas, Please
In his short time back in L.A., Douglas solved a major Bold and the Beautiful crime, gave his dad a swift and harsh reality check, found himself a new mommy in Hope (Annika Noelle), and even “officiated” a wedding. We need more. A lot more.
We don’t need our little friend to keep doing big people jobs (although it is rather fun), but why not feature him more as being a kid? Let’s see him play, laugh, and bring light to everyone’s lives. In fact, he’ll be on today’s show and we can’t wait!
There is definitely room on the screen for one of our favorite daytime kiddos. Douglas is the glue that holds a blended family together, after all. This boy is wise beyond his years and a welcomed addition to our afternoon. His smile can make anyone’s day so please, B&B, give him more on-air time! He makes everything better.
