Ridge may not think so but Eric Forrester has a lot of important people in his life on Bold and the Beautiful. We get that the designer is trying to do what’s best for his deathly ill father but perhaps he could hop on the phone and let some folks know that Eric’s prognosis isn’t that good right now.
Eric Forrester: No Time Like the Present
Who should be brought into the loop about Eric’s health? There are lots of people but Soap Hub is taking a look at some top choices. The clock is running out on the Forrester patriarch’s time on this earth. (See more about the race to save Eric here.) He’s loved by many and some of those people don’t even know he’s been sick.
The (Third) Wife Is the Always Last To Know
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has been back on the canvas for a few years now but she hasn’t reconnected much with Eric, her ex-husband. Had Sheila’s wicked past in Genoa City not been exposed, it’s quite possible that Sheila and Eric would still be married. Sheila should be told of Eric’s decision. Who knows? Maybe with her medical background as a nurse, she could help the doctors find a cure.
Business and Pleasure
Eric shares a current professional relationship and a past personal one with Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bergman). Perhaps it’s time for the Young and the Restless character to revisit Los Angeles to visit her sick pal. That way, she could bump into Sheila, her longtime nemesis, and the answer as to whether or not Lauren knows Sheila is alive or not could be answered.
Hayes and Confused
We can understand Sheila not being told about Eric. She might want to help Ridge finish the job! Okay, that’s harsh but c’mon! Eric’s one of the few people who Sheila hasn’t shot on B&B. But her nemesis Taylor (Krista Allen) should be brought into the loop. After all, Eric cares deeply for her. They had a love affair. She’s a doctor, don’t forget. Maybe she could help Finn (Tanner Novlan) with whatever he’s working on and help save Eric’s life.
Last Should Be First
Quinn’s absence in this storyline has been glaring. Sure, we know her portrayer, Rena Sofer, is back on General Hospital as Lois. But soap stars have been known to do double duty. If anyone could smack some sense into Ridge and convince him that he needs to give Eric a chance, it’d be Quinn. The woman took no prisoners and truly did love Eric. She may still.
