Liam thinks he’s out of the woods. He underwent brain surgery, and now he just wants to be there for his daughter. However, his grim condition was revealed in Friday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. We can’t stop thinking about his terminal diagnosis and what this could mean for the show.

Taking A Step Back

It’s been a while since we’ve had a lot of Liam (Scott Clifton) on our screens. It was nice to see him step back into the fold. Unfortunately, things took a dark turn after his fall. Liam smacked his head on the table after his fight with Bill (Don Diamont).

Thankfully, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) found him there. She immediately called 911. Liam underwent emergency surgery because blood was pooling in his skull and brain area. After waking up from the surgery, Liam asked Steffy and the medical team not to share this news with his family. He doesn’t want to put this burden on them.

But Liam could be headed for trouble. In Friday’s episode, Bridget (Ashley Jones) and Grace (Cassandra Creech) shared with Finn (Tanner Novlan) that they had found a mass in Liam’s brain. Unfortunately, it’s incurable and inoperable. This could suggest that Liam’s days are numbered. We can’t imagine the soap without him.

What This Could Mean

Now, we know the reason why Liam fell. He was dizzy because he had a mass in his brain. What does this mean for Liam? Is he really dying? Or will Finn have to find another medical cure that could save his wife’s ex-husband’s life? Liam’s fate could end up in Finn’s hands. (No pressure…)

Also, this grim news could shake up both the Logans and the Forresters. Hope (Annika Noelle) will be devastated to learn that Beth (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) wasn’t there for Liam’s final moments. So far, only Kelly (Sophia Paras McKinlay) has gotten plenty of daddy-daughter time. We just witnessed their adorable daddy-daughter dance.

And how will Bill feel about his son dying? Will he regret arguing with him? There’s no doubt that this news will have both Steffy and Hope feeling some kind of way about the man they both loved. We could see them grappling with regrets of their own. Liam’s death brings up more questions than answers, and we’re curious to see where this will go.
