We’re having whiplash with Carter’s heart on The Bold and the Beautiful. One minute, he’s begging Hope to come back to his life. Next, he’s locking lips with Daphne. We have no idea where he’s going next. Does he want love or a rebound? Carter has a divided heart, and we can’t help but think about it.
Did He Lose His Touch?
Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) used to be the man you’d want to be with. We wondered why more women didn’t throw themselves at him. Carter seemed like the perfect package. Not only is he intelligent and handsome, but he’s also committed and devoted to the women in his life. Such was the case with “Cope.”
Carter fought for Hope’s (Annika Noelle) right to work at Forrester Creations. Even so, he went to the dark side for her. Carter stole the company from underneath the family. He claimed that he was doing all for Hope. However, he did a complete 180 and claimed that he lost his sense of self.
Now, he’s unsure of which direction to go. Carter gave back full ownership of Forrester Creations to Eric (John McCook), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He’s also locked lips with Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) more than once. Yet, he can’t stop thinking about Hope. On May 1st, he revealed to Ridge that he wanted Hope back at Forrester Creations.

What Could This Mean
Carter could be the next man to have a divided heart. We already have men like that on the show, such as Ridge and Liam (Scott Clifton). The last thing that Hope needs is to end up with another man who can’t give her his whole heart. That’s the reason why she ended her marriage to Liam.
But this might be a test for Carter, who’s remained dedicated until now. He must decide who he wants in his life. Although Daphne is charming and beautiful, he still has a soft spot for Hope.
