The Bold and the Beautiful Left Too Many Holes In Finn’s Resurrection

While The Bold and the Beautiful fans are thrilled that John ‘Finn’ Finnegan is alive (yet not so well), which many audience members had suspected, his resurrection doesn’t make much sense at all and we’re not sure how Li Finnegan did what she did or what she’s trying to accomplish.

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Li Did Some Amazing Things

Our first question is — if Finn (Tanner Novlan) had a slight pulse, but no brain activity, what does Li (Naomi Matsuda) think she is going to do to save him? You can’t keep a braindead man in a hotel room or anywhere and expect to see any kind of improvement. Li is a doctor and should know, this, although Li does seem to have slightly lost her mind. She may not be a Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) madwoman, but she does seem a little off-kilter as she talks to a comatose Finn.

Also, what hospital would allow someone’s own mother to sign their son’s death certificate as the attending physician? That is a complete conflict of interest and makes no sense. How did she manage to sneak him out of there and into a hotel room hooked up to all these machines?

Why Did Steffy Take So Long To Think Of Finn?

We know Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was comatose for a bit and then couldn’t remember the last few years for about 12 hours, but she’s now been home from the hospital for weeks and she finally started wondering about a memorial for her husband now?

She didn’t wonder where his body was, where his parents were, and why there had been no funeral arrangements? Sure, it’s not really weeks in soap opera time, but it’s definitely enough time to have not made poor (not-so) dead Finn an afterthought. Make it make sense, B&B, and we would be enjoying this surprise twist a whole lot more.
